  • My friend was issued a trespass ticket for being at a light rail station without a bus pass/ticket. The train was nowhere near the station & he had ample time to buy a ticket before the train arrived. Is this legal?
  • Hi! I am one of the very lucky people to be granted a new trial. There was an error at trial and the judge ordered a new trial. My question is what happens at a retrial? Is it the same testimony from the first trial or can the victims change their story? For example, the victim admitted hitting me first during the first trial. Can he change that or does testimony have to be the same? I need to know this to help make a decision regarding accepting a plea offer. My attorney is unsure.

I paid this, but never signed an adendum to the original lease - this is my first apt rental. Do I have any recourse to ask for the $50/mo back (now totaling $250) since the amount was never part of my lease or because I paid it, does it mean implied acceptance and binding. They are charging me a break lease fee and I'm trying to get them to come down on the amount. I feel I was taken advantage of since I'm young.
