  • My girlfriend and I have a lease on a house until June 2020. Things have broken down with us. She wants to move out and stick me with the lease. We are both signers on the lease and they used both our credit and income to get the house. We have been here since 2016. And re-upped a 2 year lease June of last year. I do not want to move, BUT I do not want to get stuck paying the entire $1700/mo. Please let me know what I can do not to get screwed over by her.
  • It has been almost 7 weeks since my child custody trial and we still don’t have a decision. What’s the expected time frame for a judgement? My ex and I do not agree at all. I am rhe only party who provided any evidence. What should I do if anything? Thank you.
  • My ex-girlfriend and I obviously separated and have not done any legal custody paperwork with our (she is the mother) two children (ages 3 and 1). The boys constantly stay at the house that I own and never go to their mothers. She only sees them at my house for the 40 hours that I work per week and that is it. Their addresses (including the mother's mail) all come to the house that I own. She has now grown upset and wants to take the children to some long distant relative in Colorado just because she is angry. I do have the 3 year old enrolled in a local Prescott Valley school as well.
  • have a court date in civil court. recieved lrtter that states " any hearings currently set in this matter are hereby vacated". what does that mean?
  • A person of 18 years old is allowed to posess a handgun purchased through a private party or gifted as I understand it (and confirmed by ATF). What is the law on purchases of pistol ammo under 21?
  • What if child support is not being paid? What action or recourse do I have?
  • I recently found out that I am the bio-logical father of a 14 year old daughter who has been adopted. I never knew until June 2011 that I was this child’s father. What rights do I have since this was done without my knowledge? This was actually done in Colorado but I reside in Arizona. I do not want to up-root my child from her adoptive family as she has been with them for 6 years but I would like to met her and let her know that I did not abandon her and I am here for her if she wants to get to know me.
