  • When in the middle of divorce proceedings, and one of the two spouses moves out to another residence taking all of his possessions, is it legal to have the locks changed on the marital home even though both co-own the home? The home is up for sale as listed in our beginning divorce papers.
  • My wife is threatning me to move out of state with my 3 yr old daughter. We don't live together now but I am still a legal guardian and the father on the birth certificate. What should I do to keep her from taking my child.

  • If a parent has been ordered to leave the residence due to domestic violence and it is documented that the same parent has not taken children to school as required and does not have a stable residence do they have a chance at getting custody
  • I received a notice from the IRS saying that they will levy my Social Security check for non-payment of taxes. I am 70 years old. My only source of income is Social Security of $1798 per month. I have no assets. I live in an Assisted Living facility which I pay room and board of $1649 from SocSec and ALTCS benefits pay the balance. I am left with $109 per month for personal needs. Can the IRS levy 15% of my Soc Sec? How do I stop this levy?
  • My mom passed in 2014. I was on her checking account because she could not see well and I wrote her bills for her. Now the bank says I have to pay her line of credit, and they keep slapping late fees and interest on it every month. My only income is social security.
