  • My husband had what was deemed by a Dr. at Mayo as necessary surgery in 2008. All insurance info was provided and they knew he was Medicare. No one said a word about the possibility of no coverage. Now, 3 yrs. later, medicare has said they won't pay the claim and Mayo has said we owe $10,000 which would be impossible to pay since we are on SS and pension. Had we been told that at the outset, we would not have proceeded with the surgery. Wasn't it Mayo's responsibilty at the time to check out if they would get paid? How do we get this debt dismissed?
  • My wife and I rented a home in Sun City Arizona, a few months in, what they thought was a windshear tore off the Arizona room ceiling and threw it on top of the house. We call the owner immediately and let him know and he said he would take care of it, we also let him know we had our furniture in the Arizona room And would be covering it so that there would be no damage. Unfortunately, it was very hard and we did have rain, our high top bar set and tile top table and patio couch and chairs were ruined because of the heat. The landlord took almost 3 months to finally get someone to replace the ceiling.

The youngest child (both in mothers care) is now living in a different state than her mother and is not emancipated or 18 yet. She is either living with her step-dad (against divorce agreement) or own her own. What steps need to be taken to enforce mother's responsibilty of child custody? Dad has custodial custody currently but the child went to live with her mother due to domestic violence towards me. Mom is in WI and child is in NC. Any help would be greatly appreciated to straighten out this issue.
