QUESTIONS

  • We received a tro from district court on our foreclosure it was mysteriously remanded to state court then dismissed by state court we are under appeal to 9th circuit. It turns out opposing counsel clerked for judge at the AZ supreme court and US court of appeals for the ninth circuit. Neither the judge or opposing counsel disclosed there past relationship! Is this not a conflict of interest? Is the judge not required to disclose there past relationship? Is the lawyer not required to disclose there past relationship? Is it of any use in a dismissal?

  • We are owners of a double wide in a moblie home park in Tucson.  We live out of state and for the last 5 months have received only partial payments and at this time a tenant is 4 months past due in agreed payments.   • I just recently moved from California and can’t see to find info on these admin and late fees. I paid a $265 admin fee during application process. After I moved in something went through causing that payment to bounce back. I received a 5 day notice to pay that says my “rent” is late and also assessed a $10 day late fee. 1. Can I be evicted over an admin fee. 2. Is this form correct in stating its “rent” 3. Are these late fees legal and can they evict me over them 4. Can I be evicted over a reversed admin fee?
  • My mother is a 100 percent disabled veteran in her 60s who tried to help a lady temporarily. For over two years this lady has lived off my mother rent free, scammed her into cosigning for a car, and has mentally and physically abused my mom. This lady's daughter is a lawyer in training aka going to school to be a lawyer and has my mom terrified to do anything to get rid of this woman. I do not know the legal steps to begin to fix my mom's life with her being held fiscally hostage as well as these other forms of abuse. Who might I seek for advice or advocacy for this?
