  • I had an agreement with management of MHP that I would not be held responsible for previous owners last utility bill. New owners come in and charge me for the bill because previous I'll ous park owner didn't collect. Can they do that
  • My landlord sent me a 5 day pay or quit notice to my place of employment, along with a copy to my work email,I work at a large company of about 2k, mail is not given to us directly. It is opened by a mail room clerk and then distributed (if they feel it is work related) to the appropriate dept managers. My work email automatically sends acknowledgements when you open an email. So I know my landlord received this acknowledgement. My question, is can my landlord send me this 5 day notice to my place of work? Is the signature from the mail clerk acceptable in court?

Now what? do they not get the rent they wanted? they wouldn't process my October payment and tried to say in court that I slid it under office door(not true) and that's what took this to trial.Theres a lot more to the story, im on section 8 and only pay portion of rent. They have recognized that I pay $271.00 but still bill me $618.00 and for utilities when they are included for everyone. So again where's that leave me.

  • I have been living in my rental house for 7 months. The plumbing in the kitchen and bathtub keeps backing up and The landlord has had the plumbers out seven times and still cannot fix the problem. The plumbers told us it was bad pipes and the landlord will not spend the money to fix them. So I cannot use my washer or dryer and when I take a shower I have to stand in the water that backs up. Is that grounds to be able to break my lease?
