  • I signed a lease, gave them $2,500...received keys 4/1/15. Did the walk thru soon after picked upupkeys. the townhouse is filthy. smells sour, mold, cat urine, cigarette smoke. It looks as if previous tenents just movd out the day before. Also has cracked window window andbroken sliding door. What can we do

After 2 days from signing the agreement, I gave my formal written notice that I had changed my mind. Now the owner will not refund my money. What can I do. $1400 dollars is quite an amount to keep for just because. I was told they could have shown the trailer 2 times during that time, however the unit was not even ready for someone to move in.
