  • My ex-wife and I have joint physical and legal custody of our two children. I carry their health insurance, by court order. My ex-wife has issues with our son at home, which we do not experience in our home. He has anger and agression issues, and is now acting out at school. She took him to a therpist who recommened he be medicated, and she wants him medicated as well. I do not support this, but she said I do not have a say in the situation. She will not provide me with the name of the doctor or drug. Can I file something with the court to keep my son from taking the medicine?

  • A few days before I turned 18, my adopted family of 4 years kicked me out and dropped me off at my birth mothers house. (Who is not capable of taking care of me) they didn't even give me a quarter of my belongings and I also didn't receive any of my documents (I.e birth certificate, social security card, etc) this has caused me many problems in the year since dealing with trying to get a car, registering for college and other things. In order to get new documents, I need to have other documents and I have none. Is there something I can legally do?
  • How is spousal support determined? Is there a formula used by the court to determine how much should be awarded?
  • Can the mobile home park have rules that contradict the landlord tenant act? I own my mobile home, in ch33 it says that a guest cannot be charged for until they stay more than 14 consecutive days in a given moth and then charged $1 per day. The landlord gave me an eviction notice and my friends have only stayed 10 daus. Also, am i obligated to tell the landlord the name of every person who stays the night? She is saying they have the right to know and approve of all guests that stay 3 nights. Ch33 does not support that.
  • I came across an abandon/foreclosed home and I would like to find out more about taking adverse possession of the property. What do I need to know about doing this? I need the pro's and con's, please! M
  • I bought my mobile home and pay rent for the lot it was already on when I bought it. There are two very tall palm trees on the property. I am being told I need to have them trimmed at quite a high cost for me, as I am a fixed income senior. They look very much like they did when I moved in but do need trimming. Neither the park agent or management mentioned this to me during the purchase process. I don't own the land nor did I plant the trees. I am required to pay the property taxes, which is also a question for me. Thank you for any help or advice
