My ex husband has not seen our son's life, or hasn't seen him for 7 years, and my son only hears from his father when I make him call.. He is never on time with child support, and demands I talk to him on the phone rather then text, which I won't do. He hasn't had a job in 8 years and if he does it is normally under the table. I have sole custody. What would I have to do to get his right striped away so my current husband can adopt my son?

I purchased an ET center from a local store. I signed a paper that said no refunds and exchanges are per their approval. I asked them to place this furniture on hold for a least a month as our home was being rebuilt from a fire. Twelve days later I called them and advised I no longer wanted the furniture and they have refused to credit my credit card due to the paper I signed. Is this legal for them to say no refunds on furniture I never got?

I recently received a letter in the mail from a collections company saying I owe an old apartment of mine money. It has now been 2 yrs and 4 months since I lived there. I completed the move out walk through with a manager and everything was fine. Also, I didn't need to get a security deposit back, because they consider my employer preferred (Didn't have to pay one). So now they want money for some type of damages. So what I want to know is how long does the apartment have to file this claim? Also, since everything was ok at move how do I go about tell the collections company?

2014 we lease a car for 36 months st $ 229.00 a month gave our our 2004 mint condition as down payment supposedly % 5000.00 we need a larger vehicle we were moving so went to see what they could do.The.dealer paid off the Camry but added it to the truck,our payments now $579.91for 84 months.what the salesman didn't tell us that they wrapped amount of the Camry to the truck payment, so we are paying for 2 cars and they kept the car .We only have one vehicle. Is that legal? What they did? We pay $579.91 monthly,to much.our solely monthly low income is 1773.00 combined.we tried to refinance with other banks but were denied they said we owe more than the vehicle was worth.we are up to our neck with to many bills If we voluntary turned up the vehicle can they go after our only assets,a2bedroom little house? Please help,can't afford lawyer fees bankruptcy is not an option. We always have good credit,we manage with credit cards.

I SIGNED A RENTAL AGREEMENT ON FEB 23 WITH A MOVE IN DATE OF APRIL 1 AND THE PROPERTY WAS SOLD ON FEB 27. THE NEW OWNERS HAVE TWEAKED THE LEASE I SIGNED. I WANT THEM TO HONOR THE ORIGINAL LEASE BUT IF I DON'T THEY WON'T LET ME MOVE IN. IS THAT ALLOWED? THEY ARE CANADIANS, THE NEW OWNERS.
