QUESTIONS

  • I didn't give notice but moved out the date lease was up with rent paid. Is a notice required?
  • I'm a mother of 2. My oldest is 24 but mentally handicapped. My daughter is 14. Her father not my son's and I live together and co-parent. We are not in a relationship. He is mentally, verbally and has been physically abusive to me. Can I file for a temporary order to protect my children and myself from him? We share custody of her. Please help. Thank you.
  • My Mother lived in and owned property in Sun City, AZ for about 30 yrs. She had two living children whom have had a rather toxic relationship. She had a living trust and her son is named Successor Trustee. In 2003 she suffered a small stroke and (while still mentally alert) she had a problem with her speaking ability. As a result, she retired as Trustee and named her son who divides his time between New Mexico and Alaska. Her son physically relocated her to New Mexico about 10 months before she passed in Feb. 2011. He had sold her property in AZ in Sept 2010 but moved all her personal belongings to his property in NM prior to that date. Her remains are interred in AZ. Which state would have jurisdiction if a probate proceeding is necessary? (i.e.- Say the Successor Trustee fails to act?)
  • How do i notify the courts that i have no income to pay child support
  • i need to establish my grandparenting rights to c.p.s. in AZ. i need to do this very soon for i have heard they (c.p.s.) may be planning to send my grandaughter to N.Y. to be with 'next of kin' her mother has stated the child has NO family here in AZ. truthfully she has more family here on my side (the fathers) than ever in N.Y. please help?!?!?!
  • Informed my complex that I was shopping for a house 7 months ago. At that time I asked what was needed to break the leases, afraid I would have to pay both a lease and a mortgage. They told me I would just be responsible for a 60 day notice and a fine of approximately $45 for every month I received a discounted rate by signing a 13 month lease. I learned the day before the prorated rent was due, I was also responsible for a full months rent, I do not have the funds. I paid the prorated. Is there a standard of time that I can make payments before it goes to collections? Please help.
  • Can a landlord install cameras outside the house I'm renting
  • Hi, I've been working at a company delivering appliances to house for almost two years, at one of the delivery i end up damaging a driveway (private road sink in ) it was a thin black top road, my employer is making me pay for towing, drive way and truck damage. Can they do that? I ask them why don't they use their insurance and the answer was cause their rates will go up.
  • We have money taken out each pay period for bankruptcy..does that count as a deduction if we apply for foodstamps?
  • I signed away my rights to my oldest daughter when she was 3, I don't know if I'm on the birth certificate. I didn't sign it, i was in basic training when she was born. I signed away my rights so her stepdad could adopt her. I came back in the picture when she was 12. I've had regular visitation with her for the last 3 years, but want my legal rights back. The mother and adoptive father will not fight me on it, they are supportive. What do I have to do to get started.? I can not afford an attorney.
