can a landlord refuse to prorate if you have provided 30 day notice to vacate and were given permission to stay beyond lease just a few days or can they legally demand entire months rent (check already cleared) when they understand your intent to vacate premises within 5 days?

I live in an upstairs apartment with my 4 children, whuch two of them are small babies 2 and 4 years old. My downstairs neighbor constantly complains that we are making dragging noises across the floor after 11pm. My children and I are not perfect. They need to move about our place and just simply live. We try very hard to keep the noise down. But recently she said she is going to the cops and management. I told her to go ahead we are not doing anything wrong. No parties, no guest. We're trying. Can we get evicted just because she makes something up?

I live in a Mobile Home Park. I got a sink hole behind my house after a really bad storm. The water pools between the houses and when it drained, you can see the trail of debri that flowed to the back of my house where much of the water washed out the soil and left a big sink hole around my cement slab that my AC sits on. I only rent the lot. Does the park need to fix this problem or am I suppose to fix a new sink hole every time we get a big rain storm?

I was involved in a very minor collision resulting in minimal vehicle damage & no bodily harm. Accident occurred on a private parking lot which cops would not respond to so there is no reports or documentation of either parties accounts an recollection leading up to accident. Insurance information was exchanged and both parties drove away upon learning no police report would be taken. Months following were an unstable time for me and incident slipped my mind. Until this week even I received a collection letter which to the best of my knowledge is a subrogation notice. With my brief research on this, it's my understanding that I've been deemed at fault. And the insurer of other party has issued a payment covering their damage. Which they are now seeking reimbursement through me. Can I dispute or appeal an how is this done? I firmly believe that the fault is that of the other driver or at least not solely of my own, based on design and layout of parkway's as well as location of impact and damage indicated on both vehicles.
