The home I rented went into foreclosure and was sold, unbeknownst to me or to the property management company (manager was not the owner). I made 2 rental payments to the management company during the time between the home being sold and us becoming aware of it. I made a CFK agreement with the new owner and requested my deposit, as well as the 2 rental payments back from the manager. They told me to give them a key and they would return my deposit, even though I made it clear I was not moving out. I returned my key and they refused to return my deposit or payments. Do I have any recourse?

We moved out 12 days before end of lease and had inspection we were present for and she said it looked great and posted a new rent sign. Just got our deposit back and the charged us $260 for cleaning which we had done and $530 for repairs they had done such as changing bulbs and cleaning the outside of the grill. Is this legal. Shouldn't we have been notified so we could have seen these things and possibly addressed them ourselves. We still had time left in the lease and they had traffic going through for showings. We left the house perfect.

Can my landlord impose a fee because I own a washing machine? This fee was not indicated on my original rental contract I signed 9 years ago. This fee was implemented AFTER they built a laundry room. Their excuse for charging this fee is that the water bill is higher, which wasn't an issue before they built the laundry room.

I have a walmart discover card that even if i pay the minimum payment, they will tack on a late fee then add the balance and fees together to get the interest payment. My card was over the limit and I did pay that amount, yet they still added another late fee. They have charged over 200 dollars in fees. This is b/s, they get me one way or the other. Seems like double dipping to me.
