Started a year lease (8/2019) In my current apartment. The first 4 months we’ve been having constant plumbing issues where the shower has over flowed with sewage back 3-4 times a single month. In the result of damaging/ruining personal items. All of the rugs destroyed by sewage flooding out of bathroom into hallway and entering bedroom. I’ve lost shoes, clothes, electronics, furniture etc.. with that being said, their has been constant headaches and migraines due to the horrid smell. I need a better understanding of the responsibilities for a landlord, in the state of Arizona. Rent Deduction?

My roommate got arrested for selling a small amount of pot, we got our apartment raided and got evicted within a week, I was never arrested, never charged with anything, and the warrant was for his detainment, the search of his property, and his arrest, my name was not on the warrant whatsoever. The apartment complex now wants to charge us for the remainder of the lease and other charges which comes out to about $9K, what are my options?

We just rented a house was by management they were replacing the carpet. After we applied they said the owner said are replacing living room carpet and the rest which is ok but now that the has dried and the chemical smell gone is a strong scent coming from rooms. We signed lease week ago and everything with getting this house ready for move in been a battle with this management company. What are the laws about having urine soaked carpets a rental and having them replaced? There is huge health issues with having to breath in that smell. What are rights?

My son passed away June 17, 2016, he was 32 years old. He had never married and had no children. His only asset is a checking account at our local credit union. He had no co owner on the account and did not set up a beneficary. We believe there is under $2000 in the account and would like to close it out and just donate the funds. My Mom is an 80-year old senior with legal status, diable, no income, arrived in the US November 2007. She was just recently approved for AHCCCS Federal Emergency Services. I made an appeal to AHCCCS that she be granted a regular full coverage because of her current medical condition. What are the rights of the seniors in Arizona with the same case of my Mom in terms of health care. She has heart disease, severe arthritis, acute glaucoma that needs to be followed-up by specialists. She has been due for medical check up and needs continuous medication for the above illnesses. We just bought a home in Arizona. I am a 100% disabled veteran living in a hot box for the past 5 weeks.We had an inspection done before and everything was fine. We have been in the house for 5 weeks and have had a different air conditioning repair person here more than 5 times with a different reason each time. Now we have flooring from the kitchen, entry way, and laundry room that needs to be replaced because of water damage from the air conditioner. Do we have any recourse against the home inspector? I called her and she said she would refund the inspection fee, but it wasn't her responsibility for the repairs now. Every penny we have went to purchase this house and we bought a home warranty so we wouldn't have to worry about problems. The warranty company of course claiming pre-existing conditions for things, so we have to fight to get some of the costs covered with them. Is there any help for us?
