  • My Biological Sister committed suicide in Charlotte, NC and left behind a 2yr old. The father of the 2 yr old is exsisting located in Kenosha, WI as well as I in Racine, WI but he is not fit to take care of my 2 yr old niece. Being that my sister and niece both resided in NC for over 6 months I cannot petition for custody here so How do I gain custody for my niece in which I have rights to do so in charlotte, NC. I have already did a Self Serve petition but I dont know where to go from here. Please help before its too late.
  • I live in a mobile home park where i purchased a trailer for 5000$ after i bought the trailer we noticed we do nit have gas. I discussed this with the landlord and he discovered it was a bad gas line. We have not had gas for months the land lord is not fixing the problem I have no heat hot water or gas to cook with. Am I able to with hold rent? and if i have to leave the property can I be reimbursed for the trailer?

  • Hello, my son is 8 months & his father has a drinking problem. I am scared to leave him by himself with his father because he drinks & thinks he is okay...His father believes its okay to drive while drinking some whiskey & driving with beer & We have never lived together & we have no paperwork. Our 8month old lives with me & we visit his father & his fathers family at least 3to 4x a month for weekends. He wants to pick him up sometimes while I'm at work, he lies about drinking & I have seen him drink when we are visiting. What do I do? I am sooooo scared, he has an alcohol issue
