  • I live in a townhouse with neighbors that are renters and the landlord resides in Rhode Island. I have issues with the tenants and have addressed with the landlord who does not address and has left a strained relations between both of us. I have asked the HOA for assistance but not sure if they will or can. What are my options to resolve?
  • We have received numerous noise complaints. We addressed the issue multiple times. It was determined that the flooring was poor and that the plumbing in our apartment was broken (causes a loud banging anytime water is turned on). Leasing staff entered our apt. without permission and stated they discovered these things. We thought they found the source of the noise and would figure out a solution. Yesterday we received another 10 day noise complaint. My roommates and I are afraid of eviction and we aren't sure what the next steps should be.
  • In Az is it illegal for a used car dealership to sell a vehicle that had not yet been emissioned tested first? I have read on the Arizona Dept. of Enviromentak Quality page that they do,does this mean the contract I signed is technically void? Please dont judge me as i have had other repos and garnishments for them and they have all been paid for. i bought the car in late december 2012 and it wasnt till late feb. 2013 when they finally had to do an emissions test as my license plate wouldnt be mailed off till it was done. Thanks for any help with this.
  • I moved out of a rental home on 10/16/15 but was made to pay for the entire month of October. Did the 14 days for returning my deposit start on 10/16 or 10/31? Also, 14 days since both days has passed and I'd like to file a claim in Small Claims Court but I moved out of state. Are there options for out of state former tenants or must I travel back to Arizona? Thank you.

  • My boyfriend was arrested last night for aggravated assault against me. I told the police that he has a history of mental illness and that he needed to go to a psychiatric hospital but they took him to jail anyway. I am not pressing charges but I am afraid the state will. How do I help him get the charge dropped and get mental help?
  • My ex husband notified me on Monday that he is planning to move to Irvine CA at the end of May. I cannot afford to hire a lawyer because I'm still paying for my most recent legal fees regarding visitation... I desperately need help because I only have 60 days. Of course, I do not want my son to move with his dad and stepmom. She is abusive (mean), and he would spend all of his time with her because his dad is rarely home.
  • Is a washing machine considered an appliance that a land lord must replace if no longer working? Are they able to include no longer replacing appliances in the lease contract? Or indicate the tenant must come up with $100 and they replace it?

I didn't have the money to start over and have since become unemployed. I don't want to end up responsible for his bills once my bankruptcy is through. How can I get help? My area states they don't handle divorces so I don't know where to turn.
