We just moved out of a rental and we had it professional cleaned and carpets cleaned. Our landlord is deducting from our deposit depreciation for the carpet. we lived there three years and in those 3 years we had the kids rooms get a couple small stain. I understand the stains but can the land lord take money away from us for depreciation on the carpet? every house is going to get depreciation over time and use and they are the one renting it out and even if they weren't they would be living in it them selves. if a landlord can do that than they are going to start doing it for the house. I work in the construction industry as a foreman and have to stop by the office most mornings and afternoons to look at project packets, file time cards, and gather necessary tools for the jobsite. The company does not compensate me for this time at all. Is this illegal? Who do I report it to? In addition, I was recently fired for complaining about this as well as many other safety issues.

We have been married for 11 years. We have 4 children. While I was very sick with the fatal kind of valley fever, she claimed to have a family reunion to go to 2000 miles away. She took the children with her but never returned home. Says she has a lover from online and I can never see them again. I am not allowed to speak to my kids, do not have their address and am not allowed to write to them. My calls go unanswered or get hung up on. She is suing for child support even though I am not allowed any contact. I need help, it is like my kids were kidnapped. What should I do?
