  • I own one rental property, a townhome. Due to financial difficulties, I must sell it. What are the tenants rights while it is listed for sale?What are my rights to show it to potential buyers? If it sells before the lease is up, what can be done if the new owner wants the property to be vacant?
  • What is the best route to take with my landlord? There is a dead mouse deep in the stove/oven. I cannot use it and my house smells bad from it. The landlord says I have to pay him $50 to replace it as it is for my use.
  • My landlord turned off the air conditioning between Nov 2014 and March 2015. The ac is controlled per bldg. I read ARS 33-1364 and spoke to two different people at Neighborhood services.   • i live in an senior apt complex. My neighbor died next door to me it was the end of the month the apt manager when the kids came to move the furniture out was given paperwork stating they now owed next month rent and charges which totaled 1200 the rent was 565.00. The manager presented it in a hostile manner. The kids didnt have the money to bury their parent let alone pay this bill and the reason for the bill in the first place? Because a proper 30 day notice wasnt given. How the hell are you suppose to give a notice when you have dropped dead literally. Is that legal?
  • Hi, I was wondering if somebody could tell me what the processes for removing a father off of my three-year-old daughter’s birth certificate and changing her name? He is her biological father, however a year and a half ago we moved to a different state and he has not bothered to have any contact with her for over a year And of course has never paid child support. I’d like to take him off of her birth certificate and change her name to my name instead. Thank you for your advice!
  • I am going through an eviction brought on by a foreclosure of my property. The writ of restitution is being sent today to the process server as the attornys handling the eviction are in Maricopa county. My question is this; will the paperwork be filed on Tuesday next as this is a holiday week-end or can the process server actually file the writ on a Saturday? I am just trying to see how much time I have as I am in the process of vacating anyway.
