My ex-husband and I divorced in 1992 in KS and had 3 minor children at the time. My ex rarely paid his support and actually owes his children thousands of dollars. The question: the children are adults who have been residents of AZ for many years. They now really need funds and I'm unable to help. How would I initiate an audit of monies owed, and where do I start since none of us have been residents of KS for many years. My ex resides in SC. I have been told there are no time limitations to child support.

I have helped raise my 3 year old grand daughter. She stays with me at least 3 nights a week with me not including days. My daughter has new boyfriend who is violent & has issues with me. Now I'm not allowed to see my grand daughter at all. My daughter tends to change my grand daughters life as she changes boyfriends, per how they choose to live. Was wondering about my grand mothers rights & how I file for them.

Our no fault divorce was just finalized. I learned that she was pregnant is pregnant with another mans child and told me days after the divorce was final. Do I have any recourse? She didn't want me to have joint custody and I have to pay alimony. Now, she's struggling with my 4 kids and I doubt the other guy she was having an affair with will marry her due to the alimony but I believe I would of filed grounds had I known.

My air conditioning stopped working Friday night and I am being told that because it is not more than 81 degrees outside it is not considered an emergency, they also stated they don’t know how long it will be until they fix it because of the Coronavirus. How long do they have before they have to fix my air conditioner? I have 2 children and it’s very hot inside my home this is not okay.

I have been receiving a bill from my leasing facility for rent. I signed a renewal in September. I pay the amount stated and I have my receipts. I have just received, at the end of the month, a bill from the leasing office stating I am underpaid. Am I obligated to pay the underpayment due to their mistake?

I am a landlord and have a question about my legal rights to be notified by the power company (SSVEC) before they shut off service because the Tennant did not pay their electric bill. The signed rental contract gives permission to the power company to notify me of a pending shut off. They have this agreement on file. It gets below freezing here and this puts our units at risk of having frozen or bursting water lines. Also the smoke detectors are disabled. I never want the utilities turned off on the apartments because of this. They just shut off the power for 10 days before I'm aware.
