I signed over my rights to my daughter, to her mother and her husband, about 6 months ago. I was promised I would still be able to see her every other Sunday for a few hours. Her mother said it was the best thing for her. I love my daughter. Now that a little time has passed and I see how fast my baby is growing up I want more time with her and fear I will never get it. How long do I have to change my mind about giving her up?

I was convicted of DV Agg. Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon in 2001. I served 3.5 yrs. for this crime. I was under the influence of drugs/alcohol at the time, and also going thru a bitter divorce suit. I am wondering if there is any way I can get my gun rights restored? I am not planning on going hunting, or shooting someone, but with the crime rate escalating due to the economy staggering, I would NOT want to be sentenced to prison for protecting my own life as a prohibited possessor. What, if any, steps do I need to take to attempt to restore my rights. Thank You for you time !!!

I made a personal loan of 20k to a friend that was due October 30, 2012. It is in writing. He lives in Flagstaff,AZ, and I live in Hawthorne, CA. He says he wants to pay me back, but cant afford it. I want my money. He may have filed bankruptcy in Flagstaff and that is what I am trying to find out. I as a creditor was never notified if he did. Can I for free find out if he filed sometime from 2008-present??? I want to recover my money, and hoping bankruptcy law will not get in the way. Thanks!
