  • I have been charged with child neglect in Pima County and am scared to death about what may happen at the court date! Two incidents have been recorded...the twins broke the lock on the back door and ran out of the apt, were picked up by a neighbor 5 mintues later and taken to the apt complex office - #2 was a call made stating that the children were unattended to for over an hour outside (which is not true) - advice on how to handle the court date?
  • We recently had some water damage from a leaky toilet in a rental house we occupy collapsing a portion of the formal dining room. The leak from the toilet was caused by a faulty hose from the toilet to the wall. There was no sitting water in the small commode and with the lack of use of the formal dining room it was never noticed. Our landlord has stated that it is our responsibility since the leak was not inside the walls and that we should have noticed the damage. Both claims, the landlord and mine where denied. Now they are threatening to not renew the lease until we fix the damage.
  • We have a tenant that will not answer our calls, texts, emails or answer his door we suspect that no one is living in the home because it is a filthy, unhealthy mess completely unsanitary There are cats living in the home but empty cats food cans all over the kitchen floor we looked in the window and saw a cat The window was partially opened and when we looked inside all we could smell was a strong Oder of cat urine They have not paid rent in 3 months and we can’t find or get hold of them They have completely destroyed our home What are our rights? Can we enter the home?
  • My question is does Arizona limit or prohibit the elimination of implied warranties in used automobile sales by dealers? Put another way, does "as is -no warranty" eliminate all implied warranties?
  • Des found my ex to be 12,000 dollars in arrears, without my requesting anything. My ex is fighting it and Im being brought into court. Des is not providing any representation for their findings leaving me out and being responsible for attorney fees. Des was correct in its findings but i cant get documentation on any prior preceedings?

I am constantly being written up for falling asleep at work, although this had not affected the quality if mt work. Does my employer have grounds to discharge me if it is a documented condition?

  • The garage door in the house I'm renting has been broken since September of last year 2017 and a vast my landlord multiple times to fix it. Every time I bring it up and I am adamant about it he will call me and threaten me. When I tell him that I will fix the garage door and take it off of rent per the Arizona law of Self Help remedy he tells me that unless I live in the garage I have no case. Is this true, does he nit have to fix the garage in a reasonable time frame?
