QUESTIONS

  • Purchased a mobile home in an all age community Feb 2019. It has 3 wall A/C units (1 in each bedroom and one that sometimes struggles to cool the livingroom/ kitchen area). We were recently told by somebody that by law it has to have central A/C because of how hot it gets here in AZ. Trying to find out if this is true or not. If this is true, is it legal that it was sold without central A/C and who would be responsible for putting one in?
  • I moved in to my apartment on 6/8/18. On 8/20 I found bed bugs in my bedroom. I documented everything and my property manager said she would be sending the exterminator on 8/24 to start the treatment. My question is Who pays for the treatment? When I asked the property manager this she said the cost is split 50/50. On the lease it is NOT stated who is responsible. But, all of our furniture was purchased brand new after we moved in, so I do not believe I as the tenant should pay but I need clarity.

I have npt signed to renew and placed 30 day notice prior to renewal. The management is refusing to remove me from the lease and says they do not need my signature to keep me on it indefinitely. I would like to know what I have to do to leave the lease immediately. I am sending a certified mail to inform them to remove me from lease and my intention to leave.

Where do we stand legally and how long can this go on?
