We are renting a home and found black mold in the kitchen cabinets and drywall. Informed the property management co. through email with pictures. They had us in a hotel the next day. Mitigation done, ripped out drywall and cabinets. Mold was out, but they never showed up to do repairs to kitchen. We reached out several times asking when work would be done. They don't respond. We turned in letter from child's dr that says we need to be released from our lease due to my daughters asthma. They are releasing us end of April. What rights do we have since we pay full rent and repairs not done??

My daughter is 2 and I am still in high school. Can I collect support from her dad? we never married and aren't together. He claims her on his taxes but doesn't share anything with me. Because I am in school, it works out that she probably spends 60% with me and 40% with him.

I've been working for an individual for 7 years off and on. In order to get my invoices paid, we have an agreement (verbal) that I scrap some of his stuff and apply it to the invoice, been doing just that for over 3 years now. Last week I scraped some Stainless boxes and applied the monies to my running invoice, just like I've been doing for years. Now he's accusing me of stealing from him and is threating to have me arrested for stealing his stuffs. What should I do about this ? I've never been arrested and don't want to start now at my age. I didn't take his stuff with any intent.

I moved out of my rental home 2 months ago, 6 months prior to my leasr end date. It was agreed upon mutually by myself and landlord that I could break the lease, as the home was in short sale and an offer had been made on the hone. Today I get an email from my landlord stating that the short sale did not get approved and they are asking for me to pay to have the carpets cleaned, both the front and backyard landscaped and the home cleaned. First off, the home was cleaned when we left and the yard was fine. Can they ask for this to be done 2 mos later because their deal fell through?

I was influenced to redo a Secondary motor vehicle finance transaction. A rep from the office called and urged me to go in, cash out on my loan, and do another one. I told them I no longer own the vehicle and they said it's okay and come in anyways. I am now being sued for defaulting on the loan but I was wondering if I could fight it? The contract was signed under false pretenses.
