  • I havea one-year old son with a man who has broken my arm and has been charged with aggrivated assault. I obtained an op and he has violated it manytimes. He has broken my nose and I filed charges against him for that. He is still not in jail. He has denied any domestic violence in my family law case and is making making false police reports that makes me sound crazy. How do i protect myself and my son from such a person when the county seems happy to go along with what he has been doing to me? Is there anyone who can go to court with me?
  • In Sept. of 2014 my boyfriend pushed me down the stairs in our house and was arrested. Six months later Jan. 16, 2015 he punched me several times in the face breaking my nose and causing me to get 7 stitches above my left eye. I did not testify and charges were dropped. On Feb. 8th, 2017 he was arrested for DV. Can the prior charges get brought back in the new case even if he wasn't convicted?

  • I live in a rental home. The A/C went out, the owner was notified, as well as management company, it's been 6 days and still not fixed. I went and purchased on day 2, 3 fans and a portable A/C unit, I have lost alot of fruits, pantry items too!   • I'm looking for some guidance regarding the AZ Real Estate Recovery Fund. I submitted a claim against the fund some time ago but it was denied for multiple reasons, all of which were inaccurate. I'd like some advice from somebody with experience with getting reimbursement from the fund. The basis of my claim is the fact that my property manager embezzled security deposits and when his scam ran its course, he committed suicide. The fund is clearly setup to help those who have been a victim of real estate fraud, but the commissioner weaseled her way out of my claim on technicalities.
  • I lived in apartment for 2yrs. Carpet was new. Contract was up 11/30/18 and completed the walk-through on 11/28. At the walk-through we were told that everything was fine except a stain on the countertop which we were told that we would probably have to pay for. Two weeks later I get a letter that I have to pay to replace the carpet because it's worn more than the 36 month life limit. I have pictures of the carpet and it is not worn nor dirty.
