QUESTIONS

  • I have a verbal agreement with my father in law to live in his house as long as make all mortgage payments and such. For 4 years I have been on time. I have custody of 2 of my nefews along with my son, who has an autism spectrum disorder. Four days ago constables showed up at my house to evict. This was the first that I had of any proceedings. I was not given a chance to defend myself or anything. I'm quite shook up and today I saw people removing my possessions. What options are available to me?
  • Can I file for bankrupsy if I face forclosure?
  • My baby's father has been in contempt of court "at least" 2 times. This last time the judge told him, "If you haven't made some kind of payment before the review hearing in 2 months...you will go to jail." Well he had not made any payments and the judge didn't do anything about it except give us another review hearing in 2 months. I don't understand why he is getting away with contempt of court and more than once. What can I do?
  • We live in an RV resort, own a park model. We have a business license to do yard work and have been doing well here in the park helping older people that cannot do what we do. We work on the weekends, but the park is considering prohibiting working on Sunday. Can they do this according to AZ law. They have also issued a ruling that people who work for the park cannot do side jobs in the park at all, even on their own time and with their own equipment. Is this legal?
  • I'm actually not working at the moment cause I had a bad seizure and I have to get surgery on my knee coming up do I still have to pay child support even though my ex has been not working four to five months now
  • I am unmarried and 15 weeks pregnant. My ex fiancĂ© is denying paternity most because he does not want the military to know he is having a child because it will cancel his assignment he signed up for that requires no dependents. I would like to legally establish paternity so that when the baby comes I will be able to apply for child support since he will most likely be deployed. I have heard mixed answers on whether or not prenatal paternity tests are legally admissible to establish paternity in Arizona. The tests are very expensive, and before I pay I would like to know if I can use it
