We owe a nursing care facility 10,000 dollars. I have been sending them 20.00a month. I received a letter from them with a check for the payments I made. I moved into an apartment complex nearly 6 months ago. 2 months ago they announced they will no longer accept payments at the office and the only choice is to use their online app or pay cash at a local Walmart. This was not in the lease when i signed it. The amount due is already pre applied on the app. 2 months of payments are submitted, no record on my account 2-4 days after the 1st. 3rd payment due, is less and unable to 'edit' for correction. I took screen shots of the process and says paid. No payment due for 27 days. I emailed the office about it.can they charge me fees for the error

I found a car on craigslist and went to see the vehicle. The seller and I agreed on a price. I told him I would be receiving my refund check in one week and asked if I could hold the car with a $300.00 deposit. Unfortunately my refund check became offset and I will not be receiving any money. Now the seller does not want to pay me back the deposit. Is that legal?

My ex pays child support. He moved out of state in March 2014 and no longer can honor his parenting time nor do I believe he has notified the court of his new address. Is there something I should be doing as the petitioner? Can I report his address change? Do I need to file for an increase in support?

Does the Late Fee Fairness Amendment Act Of 2016 also apply to mobile home park owners? I own my mobile but rent the lot. My landlord charged me a late fee on a late fee, but all of my rent has been paid on time. They claim that they can't apply my rent check for Dec. because it's not the full amount of my account, which includes the late fees. The late fee was because I was disputing the water bill and wasn't paying until we were able to speak about it on the phone, which was past the date that rent is due. They said they would waive the late fees, then reneged.
