QUESTIONS

  • I have been leasing land that my manufactured home sits on since July 1998. I no longer reside on the property, but have maintained utilities and monthly lease payments. The landowner sold the property to a third party. The new landowner has given me 30 days notice to remove the home so that she can build a house on the property, quoting ARS 33-1370 (abandonedment) and an incorrect street address. Would 33-1476 and 33-2149 apply here? (180 days notice and Relocation Fund)?

  • My girlfriend and I have a lease on a house until June 2020. Things have broken down with us. She wants to move out and stick me with the lease. We are both signers on the lease and they used both our credit and income to get the house. We have been here since 2016. And re-upped a 2 year lease June of last year. An adjacent undeveloped lot is under contract & a survey disclosed that the corner of my 1973 house and part of driveway encroach on the adjacent property 10'. Side setback. Am I or can I be forced to pay for replatting and to agree to a land swap, or am I granted any rights since the owners of the lot when I purchased home never contacted me within 3y after I purchased? What options do I have legally have?
