  • My mother passed away in 2012, she will the family home to my 2 sisters and I. 1 sister signed off on estate not wanting any of it. My oldest sister moved her son and girlfriend into mothers house. My mother has a mortgage on home and I think my sister is wrong for keeping account open under my mothers name. She tells me to not worry about it. What can I do about it. I want to sell the home. Any help would be appreciated.
  • In the city of Phoenix Arizona they are allowed to charge a 2% tax fee on rent. My apartment complex charges 2.3% on every single charge on the bill. My rent is $757 and I pay $17.41 for taxes just on my rent alone. My mailbox is on site but I have to drive 20 minutes and pay $40 to pick up my mailbox key! Even though it's onsite. It's not a P.O Box. They also charge a $21 fee to pay my rent online but they refuse to let us pay any other way than online. When asked if the 2.3% tax is included in property tax the employee agreed it was. Is this legal to keep charging all these fees w/ high tax?
  • My ex and I had a domestic violence issue where one party assaulted the other and property was destroyed. I declined to press charges at the time (May 2018), and the charges have been dismissed without prejudice since (June 2018). Can I change my mind and still pursue charges against the other party?
  • I own my mobile home in a 55+ park; the park wants to buy my unit with a down payment and then payments for x number of years. They are then selling it, now, to a buyer. How does this work with my title? Do I become a lien holder to the park who is buying?

  • We rented a property in San Tan Valley. We went through a rental property company. Do I take them to small claims for not getting all deposit back or the owners? I also need to know what county. The house is in one county and the rental management in another. They are charging us for one palm and two small plants to be replaced. Nothing else died.

  • If I never got cited or arrested for misd. theft, and now after four months the state picked it up, can the plaintiff drop charges.
  • I am currently in a Ch 13 bankruptcy. My home was in my bk plan. Currently my pre and post petition payments are current. However my mortgage servicer continues to place the payments made in a reserve account for several days before applying the monthly payment. My loan servicer also adds additional fees to my monthly statement such as property preserv fee? My home was in foreclosure but since it is current on pre and post petition payments, my servicer still has not canceled the trustee sale, they just continue to move the date forward. I filed pro se and everything else has been fine.
  • I was married to my ex husband for 11 years while he was in the military. He later retired from the military. Am I entitled to half of his pension? It was not noted on our divorce decree.
