QUESTIONS

  • I'm sepporated from ex. She moved to Florida with the children. She was told by the court she would have to pay to send the kids to NY. She recently said she will no longer send them unless I pay for them to come. Ive taken her to court for breaking the court order before. Nothing seems to work. She also never lets me speak to the kids on the phone and now its been about 6mths since Ive spoken to them. Im tired of fighting. If I give up my rights as there parent do I still have to pay child support. She no longer wants me in their lives just wants me to pay child support.
  • I am trying to do a formal name change for my son. His biological father's rights were terminated july 2012. Do I still have to notify him of the name change?
  • I thought that expungement meant the clearing or erasing of one's record, but it doesn't mean that in AZ. What does it mean? What is the point of it?
  • Due to the Covid19, my business has taken a hit. That meant no money was coming in to pay Payroll. From Feb-May, I've been living off credit cards. I have made a partial rent payment for April and May 2020. I came home yesterday to an eviction notice. The property owner knows of my business & financial situation. I was told that as long as I was making a partial payment towards rent, that by law I couldn't be evicted (with intent to pay in full ASAP) My company was just awarded the PPP LOAN, which I advised my property owner the very next day that all past portion of rents would be paid asap
  • Is there such thing as a modified restraining order that stipulates the defendant may not come to my place of residence during certain hours? I don't want the defendant to not be able to have ANY contact with me, I just don't want him on the premises during certain hours becuz he is disruptive while I am trying to conduct my home business.
  • Moved into renovated home was to be done by 6/18 (day moved in). Upon arrival; 2 baseball size holes in 2 windows & piles of trash under carport. Due to incorrect measurements windows would be another week. Week1 dryer vent had to be re-cut, electrician rewired house due to fire hazard. Week2 plumbing unable to do laundry 2weeks now, family has to share 1 bathroom, windows not replaced. Week3 windows replaced 7/1–7/6, plumbing on hold to find better price (laundry?), & still sharing bathroom. Was given 1 months free rent but asking us to pay full electricity bill. What are her obligations?
  • I want to obtain full custody of my children right now their dad has not seen them in months but is paying child support he has had trouble with the law and has been in jail and also problems with drugs how can I file for full custody and is that something that can be granted or what will it take for that to be granted..
  • If a parent severs rights to their children and the state adopts them. can you request for any kind of visitation? What if one of the children was adopted by their blood grandmother, can you go to court and ask fort visitations?
  • We are senior citizens. A bank is offering us a home loan that we assumed was fixed interest-the rate dropped a fraction, even-then I happened to notice an unfamiliar phrase with a tiny checked box-'demand feature'. I looked it up: the bank can demand payment, calling the loan, at any time without giving a reason. It said that some states prohibit that practice. Is Arizona one? Calling the loan could destroy us and force the property into foreclosure.
  • I am currently renting out my home to a couple and they have violated the rental agreement on a number or accounts. They have decided to make "repairs"/"upgrades" to my property without my authorization. They have a pet which is against the terms of the lease. They are also consistently late with their rent. Am I within my rights to given them a notice to vacate the property due to breach of the leasing agreement? If so, how many days notice do I have to provide?
