QUESTIONS

  • My ex wife and I share joint custody. I have since remarried and have another child. I will have my child from my first marriage while my ex is deployed. I told her that he would be spending a few weeks with his brother at his grandparents house from my marriage now. She responded with she is giving her Mom her custodial rights while she is gone and has threatened to have me banned from letting them spend time without me around with his Grandparents from my current marriage because they are not blood relatives. Can she do this and if so what can I do.
  • Public Housing is asking for a letter stating that I have file child support to the father of my son. My question is that where can I get that letter.Do I have to go to court for this?
  • I have permanent guardianship of my granddaughter since 2000 she is now 13. She went for her first time out of state to see her mother for 2 weeks. When the visit was almost up she sent a message that she is not sending her back and is filing some papers and states that i can call and talk to her after thats all done. What rights does she have? How do i go about having my daughter send her back home? I researched and no papers have been filed here.can she file in that state to terminate guardianship?
  • I have a court trial coming up. I recently put some subpoenas in 7 to be exact, and with in 16 hours had the courts call me to have pre-trial hearing in judges chambers, concerning subpoenas. I've never heard of this and was wondering what I should expect, how to carry myself, etc... Thanks
  • If a person is self employed, what income value should the person use to calculate child support?
  • if Im not married to my daughters mother but have been supporting her for 16 years if I leave do I need to pay alimony to her?
  • I have leased to a tenant in Surprise. I had the front and backyard cleaned for the tenant when she moved in. Now the tenant is refusing the maintain the front and backyards. Who is responsible for landscaping to HOA specs?
  • We mailed in our divorce documents to the court, and when returned signed by the judge it doesn't have an Atlas number, or child support commence date. My ex wife claims she has it and it isn't given to the father paying child support. Did the child support not actually become obligatory? I have been paying directly by check because I have never recieved any further correspondence or direction from the court. Thank you!
  • I was on a lease with 4 other people and to move out these other tenants had to release me from the lease. After being released the property manager is saying that I was never released now they are sticking me with an $1100 bill. I only have contact with 1the former roommate but he vouches that he signed me off the lease. What can I do to avoid this bill?
  • My Park charged me a $5 per day late fee on unpaid late fees. Is this legal in Arizona? The park applies any payment made to the amount due, thus guaranteeing that any payment made that is less than the entire amount owed will be subject to late fees for the entire time additional money is owed. I believe there are laws preventing that practice for mortgages but I'm unsure about rentals or leases. Shouldn't payments first be applied toward the monthly rent or lease and then any additional payment be applied to late fees? And isn't it illegal to charge interest or fees on late fees?
