  • I am in foreclosure with Citimortgage. I just started working after eight months. I have kept in touch with them, and they will do a hardship application when I can provide two paystubs. This I can do as of two weeks from today, when I get my second pay stub. Unfortunately, they are proceeding with foreclosure. I cannot afford an attorney. I just need someone to make them wait the extra two weeks, plus however long they take to process my application. Without my house I am literally homeless, and I am so close to giving them what they need. Can you provide me with pro bono assistance?
  • Isnt there a law that states how much you can charge rent by square footage? I ask because its seems to be ridiculous to charge $650 for a 350 sq ft studio.

If it was the water heater, is it fair that I have to pay the electric bill for their water heater malfunctioning and sucking up electricity for 2 days?

  • My neighbors water heater recently needed to be replaced. The property manager was notified but the building maintenance man was out sick. It took over a week to replace the unit and complete repairs. During the time of the unit being damaged, and up to it's replacement, the cost of electricity used to power it went through the roof. Mt neighbor's electric bill overages during the two month period of the unit failing to work properly and then breaking down beyond repair, totalled $415.66. Is it the landlord's responsibility to reimburse the tenant for the cost of the electrical overages?
  • My family and I are moving from out of state to Arizona. Upon move in, we discovered the house AC was broken. Other repairs were not complete on the house - blinds not installed, shower doesn't work. We have had to pay to stay in a hotel for multiple nights. The property managers are not helpful and do not feel our case is urgent.
  • Landlord refuses to make repairs in the house we are renting. We are withholding rent. Today there's a notice on our door, that he's going to shut off the electricity.
