QUESTIONS

  • In mid October I agreed to let a female army veteran stay in my camp trailer for two weeks. We have no contract and I didn't ask for rent but she said she would help out. I ran an electricic an cord to the trailer and told her to use a bathroom in the house. It's December 15th and she's still here. So far she's contributed $35 towards food and utilities and recieved mail. Twice she threatened to call the police because she has the right to shower and to use my electricity. I would like to know how to remove her by Christmas without a legal battle, what rights she actually has, mine also.
  • A few days after a pest control issue, house of filled with dead animal smell coming from the AC vents. I couldn’t get in contact with my landlord. My husband gets up in the attic to try to Search. He determined it was not in a ducts, but most likely fell into the mail AC unit. My landlord has sent two different people out to 1. Cover the smell, 2.reconnect the duct. He has yet to send someone to open/check inside the unit. I have an immune compromised 2 year old, no ac, & a dead animal in air system (which is a big health hazard). How long can he drag his feet? What are our options?

I started a new job and was getting garnished from my last employment I had gotten my total down more then half and now that they have started garnishing at my new employment the total I owe has more then doubled off my original balance in which they sued me for in the beginging, my question is just how much intrest can a bank (not a collection agency) charge on a defaulted loan that is in the process of being garnished legally? I will end up being garnished for the next 6 years at this rate.
