My ex husband and have been divorced since 2008 we both have joint custody and the children have primarily lived with me and have had the same parenting plan in place since, however this past December my ex husband asked for a modification and the judge awarded him as the "primary residential parent" since parenting time was modified and the children are now staying with him more than me. We both still have jjoint custody. My ex husband changed the kids school with out me knowing or agreeing dose he have the right to do this? The order dosnt say he can make educational decision on his own.

A set of keys was used to rob the residence three weeks ago *with me in the home*. I stayed locked in my room since I was unsure of what was happening. Went out, things strewn everywhere, my stereo system stolen, the mail key used to steal packages expected that day. Landlord still refuses to change the locks. First excuse was that it would infringe on the rights of the roommate suspected of handing out her keys (or even helping with the robbery in person). Is what my landlord doing landlord negligence? These people have a KEY to my HOME! Isn’t there some responsibility for tenant safety???

My ex-husband was given custody of our son after having him removed by child protective services (CPS)2 yrs prior after his arrest for child abuse. Our son had lived with me for over 2 yrs in a clean & sober happy home and was afraid of his dad, talked of abuse from his dad, etc. Through a series of events his dad has custody of him again after the judge misconstrued the situation and didn't look into the history. He's abusive and won't let me see our son. My ex was abusive to me & my kids. Now I don't know what to do. The judge doesn't believe me. Can I get a new judge? What can I do? Help!

I currently have sole custody of my child since his father was not around for the pregnancy or birth and is not even listed on the birth certificate. We were never married. He filed for custody and we have trial in November. If I get activated in the military indefinitely and have to move before our court date what happens? I have been the primary caregiver to our son since birth.
