  • I have an employee that has co-signed for a loan with her son, the son has defaulted and is filing bankruptcy, the lender has not yet contacted her for repayment of the loan. She would like to be ready to do whatever she has to do to make this go away. She doesn't want to file for bankruptcy, but may have to. She is looking for a low cost/free help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  • I live in a 55+ park, on 10/2 The Gas was shut off due to a leak, The master Pipe under my trailer needs repair, I have been told 3 times that it would be fixed and I would have gas. The only thing done is my Meter was removed and the pipe capped off, so everyone else would have Gas, and that took 24 Days. What is a reasonable amount of time for repairs
  • We received info about renewing our lease, at a property where we have lived for almost 1 year. When we moved in, we noticed the irrigation system needed repairing, but the property mgmt. company said the landlord would not repair it, and to use an above ground sprinkler, which we did. One of the conditions on the option to renew states: "The tenant shall maintain the landscape irrigation system, including the automatic timer, in good working condition and make any needed repairs at their sole expense." Isn't this forcing us to repair the irrigation system was never worked right? Ideas?
  • My father was in a group home in Casa Grande and then died. It's been over 60 days and they have yet to refund his $500 security deposit. We live in Michigan and wonder if we can file a small claim but not have to be present.
  • We are preparing to sign a lease. The home was marketed as having a 'large fenced yard for kids and pets." Upon inspection, this 'fenced yard' has one full side of a metal fence completely fallen over, with metal sticking up, posing a safety hazard and not "fenced" for our dogs to be able to safely access the yard. The property mgmt. company said that they're aware of this, but the owner wants to focus on working on the house and not fence at this time. She said we can do something temporary (at our own expense) in the meantime, and possibly discuss this again in the future. Is this legal?
  • Is Arizona a common-law marriage state? If two seniors have been living together for more than ten years without being married and one passes away, will the living senior be responsible for the debts of the deceased.
  • Okay, my daughter is 37 years old. Married and is there a chance to end the child support as it's been deducted from my check for along as I've been employed. Over 30 years. I know there were arrears but isn't there something one can do as it prevents jobs, loans etc. Rudy
  • I have never been convicted of a crime before. I just moved here to Arizona about two weeks ago. I got a citation for urinating in public. Should I plea not guilty and seek counsel? I want him off the birth certificate and to change her last name. What papers do I need to file? How would I go about doing this? He has not had contact with her in over 6 months and I can’t even contact him anymore.
