  • My husband and I have been married for 9 months and I am 7 months pregnant. My husband has a daughter from a previous relationship. His parents (my in-laws) have stated they plan to file for grandparents rights. I know they have no rights over our son since we are married, however will they lump both kids together or not since they have two different mothers? They will try for time for our son, I already know that. I guess my concern is will they get any time with him?
  • My daughter is 15 years old. She doesn’t want to visit her dad anymore because he never took care of her and was abusive. What can I do?

Landlord has tried everything but they are still everywhere, especially in the kitchen, on counter tops, stove, cabinets and many other places.I want to break lease based on these conditions. I do not claim him as a dependent and his finances are segregated from mine. I did not cosign any loan. He has been served and I expect that the court will issue a judgment. My question is, do I have to do anything special to protect my and my wife's goods from execution. Legally, they are ours, but how do I proceed if the sheriff attempts to grab them? Can he?
  • In April of this year My landlord and I made a verbal agreement on renewing my lease, my lease ends July 31st. On July 2nd I gave him a call to ask when I can resign the lease we had verbally agreed to. He then tells me he rented out the apartment that I am living in and can no longer live in that apartment. However, he did offer another apartment $200 more than what I'm paying right now. Also note, I have had several problems with him trying to tow my truck by saying I was taking two parking spots which in reality I wasn't and I took a picture of it. What do I do in this situation.

  • I own my mobile home but rent the lot. I almost got evicted last month because I was two months behind in rent. I paid in full. I am disabled and working for minimum wage at a job that only has part time hours and I am on food stamps. I was unable to pay my rent and I am still a month behind. I have been served to be evicted for the price of one months rent. Are they legally allowed to do this for being one month behind? I will be able to pay the rent on the 31st. A new company has taken over this low rent trailer park and harassing everyone. Can they fine us for weeds on property?
