My boyfriend owes almost $100,000 to the State of California. He is paying off the welfare that his ex wife was on. His paychecks are garnished and as of a few days ago his bank account was too. I was planning on joining the Navy in the spring and we wanted to get married. My question is: Will his child support debt transfer to me?Will they be able to garnish my wages and bank account? Will any of this be put on my credit score?

Father was diagnosed with alteimers. My parents marriage lasted till his death .couple months after she remarried. I am his only child also have 2 half sisters. When my fathers will was made he had already began early stages of alteimers and dimentia. I was not included in the will. My half sister who put my father in jail prior to his last days is on his will as well as my mother. I wanted to know what rites I have being his only daughter.

On behalf of my 60 yo disabled client; she has a rude, intimidating landlord that continually threatens to deliver a "notice" to the tenant. I called on behalf of tenant and the landlord hung up on me refusing to answer my questions. My client is scared of her landlord and feels threatened. When my son was born 12 years ago his father and I weren't married and I gave him my last name, this was in San diego. Then his father and i married in Virginia. I was never married to my sons biological father who happens to be an illegal immigrant. Paternity and child support have been established by the court and I have sole legal custody. The Order states that father is not to pick up child from daycare. How do I enforce this?
