I have lived in my home for 21yrs. My ex has the loan and I am on the deed (title). We seperated and he moved out about 8 years ago. In 2016 he filed a breech of contract claiming I didnt put in my share, wants a quiet title and wants me out. He was granted a default judgement against me. I filed a motion to vacate judgement and was denied with the final judge stating I had to metorious agrument and was not credible although 3 judges before that one disagree and have denied all his motions. I am filing an appeal. Would I be the plaintiff or the defendant? I need legal aid, who can help me?

Is there a 3 day release from jail if not charged rule? But if the jail lists charges on the inmate, doesn't that mean that they have been charged? And if the preliminary hearing is scheduled, doesn't that mean that they have been charged, but not necessarily indicted? On major methamphetamine trafficking charges, isn't it unlikely someone would get out on the above-mentioned 3 day "rule"? Without a bond? Just turned loose?

My son is abt to be 4 years old. He has my last name because while I was pregnant his father was abusive physical & emotionally hurting me , he was also abusing drugs and dealing drugs . His dad & I try working it out but throught out time he was still being abusive , doing drugs getting d.u.i going to jail . Cheating on me I had enough . Now he has a black on blank Benz . He has a Bently he has a monster truck . He has a motor cycle hardly Davidson & dune buggy while I'm struggling with my son to get by . My boyfriend was supporting us him & I are no longer together . How can I get child support from the guy without him getting any legal right

I had my bank account garnished.I went to court and the garnishment was released. I'm self employed but I do get paid by a goverment agency. Can my wages be garnished? Does the collector have to go back to court to get another order?

My father passed away 1/16/2015. His is the only name on his home's deed. There is a reverse mortgage on the house and what is currently owed on the mortgage is more than the house is worth.
