My father (73) was diagnosed with lung cancer few months ago. I do not know how much time he has left. He owns a house in Mesa, and my sister lives with him. The house is under his name and he has a will that divides evrything he owns 50-50 between my sister and me. Now, when he passes away, can my sister still be in the house and assume mortgage payment? If my sister and I want to sell the house after my father's departure, can we do that? If so, how does that work?

Hi! I am one of the very lucky people to be granted a new trial. There was an error at trial and the judge ordered a new trial. My question is what happens at a retrial? Is it the same testimony from the first trial or can the victims change their story? For example, the victim admitted hitting me first during the first trial. Can he change that or does testimony have to be the same? I need to know this to help make a decision regarding accepting a plea offer. My attorney is unsure.

I have an order of protection against my ex. I have filed for bankruptcy. I have a lawsuit the he filed against me, and I a counter suit against him. I've included his lawsuit against me in my bankruptcy; even though it never went to trial. His attorney wants a deposition with me with his client present - which is whom I have the order of protection against. What are my legal rights to protect myself? I don't want to meet in my attorneys office because I am afraid of this man. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
