My boyfriend and I (never married) had our son in TX and upon our agreeing to split decided to a three month rotation until he was old enough for school at which point I agreed to live where his father was so we could do one week on and one week off. I moved back to AZ and went to pick him up in TX after 3 months for my turn only to find out he moved from our house and is refusing me to tell him where he is unless I sign full custody to him. I calledthe police but in TX we both have 50/50 until a court were to say otherwise. Can I file for custody in AZ without him in my possesion?

My husband and I have been married for 9 months and I am 7 months pregnant. My husband has a daughter from a previous relationship. His parents (my in-laws) have stated they plan to file for grandparents rights. I know they have no rights over our son since we are married, however will they lump both kids together or not since they have two different mothers? They will try for time for our son, I already know that. I guess my concern is will they get any time with him?

Do I have a time limit during which to request a protection order?

Our landlord gave us 1.5 hours to complete the move in forms. Even though we asked for more time by leaving the form with us. She demanded that she had to be there to compete it with us but that she had an appointment and both parties were on a time frame. I want to know how much time Arizona gives a tenant for a move in form. Did we have the right to request more time and the right is she couldn't be there to complete it on our own?

I have lost my mother on November 2018. I understand I need to file taxes for her. My accountant says I need to get her (deceased person’s) representation to file her last taxes. What forms I have to fill? Where do I apply to get the representation? Where can I get some help regarding this process?

my sons mother and i were never married and paternity has not been established. support and visitation have been by a "gentlemans" agreeement. recently however his mother has become unresponsive, threatened to leave the state and used that threat to "blackmail" me for 2,000 dollars for her unpaid rent. i love my son a great deal and would like to both prevent her leaving w/ him and obtain custody. please advise on the expeditious way to accomplish this. thanks for your help...

My ex and I have 50/50 custody. She frequently fails to pick up the children for her custody periods. Recently she dropped them off at school and told the school that I would be picking them up (again, her custody period). Obviously, I don’t mind having the children, but it is hard to manage impromptu scheduling changes in addition to the fact that I pay child support. What can I do?

I have 3 children and all under the age of 18. I also have sole custody and my ex-husband only has visitation. He is almost $100,000 in back child support.(not sure if it matters) I am moving out of AZ and going to KY in June of this year. My question is; is there a way he can stop me from moving so far, even though the court papers state he willingly gave up his custody? Also, I am not sure who or how I notify the courts(which courts?) of our move or what paperwork to complete.

My landlord requires that all rv's or travel trailers pay four summer months up front in order to stay the summer. The rest of the year we pay month to month. The permanent large trailers do not have to do this. Is this legal?

I live in apartments and the management is trying to back charge us an increased city tax rate of 2.9% for the past month and going forward. I know the rate is subject to change, but don't they have to give us a 30 day written notice of the change and rent increase? The residential rate here in Glendale is 2.2%, are they legally even able to enforce the higher rate without a tax increase? What kind of actions can I and other residents take?
