My apartment building is newly owned by a new company. They're saying that everything that was okayed by the old apartment manager does not mean anything so my boyfriend and I live together we are not currently under a lease and she's saying that he can't be here even though neither of us have a lease and we have both been residing here for a few months now

Renewing a yearly lease, can the landlord raise the rent by $100 if the apt. (been in 5yrs), has not been upgraded,like the others, has a roach infestation, all in all in bad shape. Can't move bad credit, collecting unemployment. The apt. is worth $400 that I've been paying, now they want $545?? Help!!!!!!

I am a teacher who took FMLA leave for surgery. My principal said that I am not allowed on campus to attend a meeting concerning my schedule. Is this true? He also said that if I request a meeting, they cannot meet with me because of the FMLA guidelines. Is that true? It all sounds fishy. Why wouldn't my staff be allowed to answer my emails under FMLA?

my violations are: Assault-no injury; disorderly conduct. Court date on January 29,2016. Released on signature. If the Plaintiff does not appear to press charges,will my charges be dropped? Because Plaintiff does not want to press charges. What is my next step aside from appearing in court? Do i need representation for this violations?

My landlord has given my work email and work phone number out to realtors so that they are contacting me not the landlord for showings of the house., on my work contact. The realtors are also asking for same day appointments etc because they do not realize that I am the tenant not the owner/landlord. Is this a violation of my privacy? I do not want these people to call me constantly at work. I receive child support and am filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy due to disability. Do I claim child support as income?

My ex-wife and I have joint physical and legal custody of our two children. I carry their health insurance, by court order. My ex-wife has issues with our son at home, which we do not experience in our home. He has anger and agression issues, and is now acting out at school. She took him to a therpist who recommened he be medicated, and she wants him medicated as well. I do not support this, but she said I do not have a say in the situation. She will not provide me with the name of the doctor or drug. Can I file something with the court to keep my son from taking the medicine?
