Child Support
questions & answers
Question: I have full physical custody and shared legal custody. years ago we agreed he would get the tax write-off for our child 2 yrs in a row, I one. This is no longer fair as he has her for less than 100 days/yr and she's a teenager w a lot more expenses. He refuses to change to every other year. What recourse do I have?
Answer: You are able to file with the court on modifications to child support and this may qualify in that realm. https://www.azdes.gov/InternetFiles/InternetProgrammaticForms/pdf/CSE-1178AFORNA.pdf Otherwise, you may need to contact an attorney.
