Child Support
questions & answers
Question: I'm actually not working at the moment cause I had a bad seizure and I have to get surgery on my knee coming up do I still have to pay child support even though my ex has been not working four to five months now
Answer: The child support order remains in place and effective unless you go back to court to change it based on changed circumstances. Normally, the court will only change the order to reduce your support obligation if you can show a substantial and continuing change in circumstances.
