Question: My husband and married in Arizona. He is incarcerated in AZ. I have moved out of state. Do I have to get divorced in AZ or can I get it done where i reside now?
Answer: You do not have to get a divorce in Arizona. You do, however, need to be sure that you satisfy the residency requirements (if any) to file for a divorce in the state you are now residing.
