Divorce & Annulment
questions & answers
Question: How long do I have to file annulment papers in the state of Arizona? in other words what is the statute of limitations on time?
Answer: There are a few things that are important to know about annulment. First, generally annulment is avilable only in certain circumstances. A.R.S. § 25-301 discusses the grounds for annulment. Second, A.R.S. § 25-302 says that the requirements and procedure for obtaining an annulment are the same as if the matter were one for dissolution of marriage (divorce). See question #312 on annulment. To find out more about dissolution of marriage procedures you can go to the articles that we have on Divorce & Annulment.
