questions & answers
Question: Can a mother get in trouble if they know their 30 year old daughter is in a abusive relationship. How can the help legally?
Answer: There are resources to help those in a Domestic Violence situation. If someone is in immediate danger, please call 911. The Arizona Coalition Against Domestic Violence can help with resources and referrals. That organization can be reached at 602-279-2900 or 1-800-782-6400 between the hours of 8:30 and 5:00, Monday through Friday. The national domestic violence hotline, which can be reached at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233), can also help. Additional information and resources are covered by the article, found elsewhere on this website, titled Domestic Violence Survivor’s Guide.
