Question: if i can not afford a lawyer to help with the procces can i have one appointed and if i can how do i request that?
Answer: If you are in Maricopa County, you can go to http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/SuperiorCourt/Self-ServiceCenter/Forms/JuvenileCases/jg_je1.asp to find information and forms to file for emancipation. If you are outside of Maricopa County, you can go to your Superior Court for the forms, most counties will accept the Maricopa county forms. The above website has a great deal of information on emancipation and what you will need to qualify. The court may reduce or waive fees association with the filing of emancipation.
