questions & answers
Question: does Arizona have a three strikes law.
Answer: Arizona's sentencing laws are such that any offender that has a prior felony will receive a harsher sentence than someone who commits the same offense and does not have a prior felony. This also applies for offenders that two or more felonies who will receive a harsher sentence than someone with one or none. Further, serious or violent offenders that commit dangerous felonies will face even harsher penalties based upon the nature of the offense. Arizona, however, does not have a 3 Strikes Law as you see in states like California.
