Question: Can one ask for a court-appointed attorney when charged with DUI, and how would one do that, if so?
Answer: If you meet the criteria set by the courts you may be eligible for an attorney on a criminal DUI case. The judge will ask if you have an attorney or if you want a court appointed attorney. In some cases you may have to fill out paperwork to see if you qualify for a court appointed attorney.
