Question: are wills in Arizona required to be recorded /registered, and are they open to the public?
Answer: Wills are not recorded or registered. When and if a Will is probated, the Will is filed with the Court. Arizona Revised Statutes, Section 14-3301. Wills are not open to the general public. If you know the name of the deceased, you can look on-line and see what court pleadings and notices have been filed and the filing date.
