Question: I served in the USMC for 3 years mostly as a reservist. Due to my mental health disability i was discharged with an 'other than honourable' discharge. I am on SSDI for this disability and feel that because my disease was active during my duty I should be upgraded to a 'general health' discharge. I have meritorious commendation letters from my service before my discharge.

Answer: If you think you meet the qualifications for a discharge upgrade you may want to contact a service organizations that handles these matters. Often they can be done for little or no cost to the veteran. The three Arizona law schools all have programs that assist with this matter that are held at different times.
