Landlord and Tenant - Mobile Home Parks

questions & answers

Question: I have requested for the last 3 months to be removed from the lease of an mobile park space lease. My roommate who is primary has agreed. I have npt signed to renew and placed 30 day notice prior to renewal. The management is refusing to remove me from the lease and says they do not need my signature to keep me on it indefinitely. I would like to know what I have to do to leave the lease immediately. I am sending a certified mail to inform them to remove me from lease and my intention to leave.

Answer: You should discuss your specific situation in detail with an attorney. There are links to free and low-cost legal services on this website (at http://www.azlawhelp.org/accessToJustice). In order to determine what your rights and responsibilities are, the attorney will need to know (among other things) what the terms and conditions of the rental agreement are.
